NerdRemix Horror Hottie of the Month-February 2013
Brigid Macaulay
Hometown: Columbus, Ohio (Go BUCKS!)
Selected Filmography: Crestfallen - 2011, Psycho Street (Lewis, Antibodies) - 2012, Found. (Headless) - 2012, Forced Entry - post-production, Closed Casket (Farmer's Daughters) - post-production
Fave Horror Film: Devil's Rejects, Cannibal Holocaust, Thriller: A Cruel Picture, Human Centipede, Psycho (scared the shit out of me), Amityville Horror (ditto), The Cabin in the Woods (one of the most original new horror films I have seen in a long time), Dear God No! (viva la exploitation!) … and anything Troma. TV … “American Horror Story”, “True Blood” … both scary and sexy (I LOVE that combination!).
Fave Musician/Band: With the exception of Evanescence and Lacuna Coil, I prefer classic rock and 80s hair bands … Stevie Nicks, Heart, Janis Joplin, Journey, Bon Jovi, Gun n' Roses, Pink Floyd, etc. I am also really digging the retro-metal style that is getting popular. Especially the London-based metal band Monument … shout out to Peter Ellis!! He is so sexy and DAMN he can sing!! Check out their EP at

Inspires Me: Wicca
Makes Me Smile (aka … shit I laugh at): Mullets, Floodwater Pants, Yugos, most people who sing karaoke, nose-picking, peopleofwalmart.com
Makes Me Want To Kill: People who destroy the environment, people who tell me what to do (except Directors), Bad drivers (ROAD RAGE!) and fat people who wear spandex
My Horror Icon: Stephen King, Dario Argento, Debbie Rochon (hard-core woman power!), Llyod Kaufman (this guy does whatever he wants … no holds barred), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Peaches Christ, and I have to give props to Harvey Stevens (Damien from the original Omen). Nothing like sharing shots of vodka with a horror icon at 9 a.m.!
I Would Re-Make: Nothing. Hollywood has almost entirely lost any creativity. How many more prequels, sequels, and remakes do we have to sit through? This is one of the reasons why I love indie horror … originality!
This Valentine's Day, I'm gonna LOVE doing: my fans- Line `em up! … ok, so … I'm not really a slut … though I play one on TV! LOL
About Me and My Latest Project: I have several projects that are in various stages of pre-production. Time to Kill … starring opposite Ellie Church in an exploitation-style film by Mostly Harmless Productions. I have several projects coming up with Jason Hignite … a revenge anthology called Gazpacho: A Dish Best Served Cold, a werewolf short called Luna, and a monster movie (yay monsters!) called Demolition. Trance and Emily … two shorts by Jeremiah Kipp. I also have projects coming with Marv Blauvelt and MuscleWolf Productions … a doppelganger story called Deadly Ringers and (VERY excited about this) their upcoming reality show called “Hot Blooded”!
